Cookie Policy
Effective Date: August 19, 2026 | Last Updated: August 19, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains how Provider uses cookies and similar storage or access technologies on digitalemployees.us, the hosted platform, marketplace, account, billing, and support interfaces (collectively, the "Website"). It should be read with the Privacy Policy.
1. What Cookies and Similar Technologies Are
Cookies are small text files stored on a browser or device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, tags, scripts, software development kits, and device identifiers. Session technologies generally expire when the browser closes; persistent technologies remain until expiration or deletion.
2. Categories and Purposes
2.1 Strictly Necessary
These technologies support authentication, session continuity, security, fraud prevention, load balancing, consent-preference storage, account access, shopping or subscription functions, and payment processing. Where law permits, they operate without consent because the requested function cannot be delivered without them.
2.2 Functional or Preference
These technologies remember language, region, time zone, display, agent, support, and other preferences. Where required, they remain disabled until consent.
2.3 Analytics and Performance
These technologies help Provider understand visits, navigation, marketplace interest, feature use, errors, performance, campaigns, and aggregate usage. Where required, they remain disabled until consent.
2.4 Advertising or Targeting
If enabled, these technologies may measure advertising, attribute conversions, limit frequency, or support interest-based marketing. Provider will provide legally required notice, consent, and opt-out controls before enabling a practice that constitutes sale, sharing, or targeted advertising.
3. Information Collected
Cookies and similar technologies may collect or derive:
- Cookie, browser, session, account, cart, subscription, or device identifiers;
- IP address, approximate location, time zone, language, operating system, browser, and device type;
- Pages viewed, searches, agent or plan selections, buttons selected, referral pages, campaign parameters, timestamps, and session duration;
- Authentication, security, error, latency, API, payment, and performance events; and
- Consent selections and the date and policy version associated with the choice.
4. Consent and Lawful Operation
Where consent is required, non-essential technologies will not operate until the user makes a clear, informed, affirmative choice. The consent interface will offer granular categories and a reject option as accessible as the accept option. Withdrawal does not disable strictly necessary functions but may reduce preferences or analytics.
5. Managing Choices
A user may manage technologies through:
- The Cookie Settings link or consent banner, where available;
- Browser or device controls that block, limit, or delete cookies and local storage;
- Provider-specific or industry opt-out tools identified in Cookie Settings; and
- A privacy request where a technology is linked to identifiable Provider-controlled information.
Blocking all storage may affect login, security, billing, preferences, or other requested functions. Deleting cookies may cause the consent banner to reappear.
6. Browser-Based Opt-Out Signals
Where required by law and technically applicable, Provider recognizes browser-based opt-out preference signals, including Global Privacy Control, as a request to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising for the relevant browser and device.
7. Third-Party Technologies
Third parties may set or access technologies when providing hosting, security, analytics, communications, embedded media, payment, support, or advertising functions. Their independent processing may be governed by their own notices. The Cookie Settings interface should identify current non-essential third parties before consent where required.
8. Cookie Register and Duration
The Cookie Settings interface is the authoritative register for each technology's name, provider, purpose, category, first- or third-party status, and duration. Provider periodically reviews the register to remove obsolete technologies and avoid excessive duration.
9. Changes to This Policy
Provider may update this Policy when technologies, vendors, purposes, or law change. Provider will update the effective date and request fresh consent where a new or materially changed purpose requires it.
